All summer long, the capital of the Camargue is in tune with photography. Major exhibitions in unusual places.

Through more than 60 exhibitions installed in various exceptional heritage sites in the city (sometimes accessible only on this occasion), the Rencontres d'Arles contribute each summer since 1970 to transmit the world's photographic heritage and are intended to be the crucible of contemporary creation. It also includes screenings at the Théâtre Antique, conferences and debates with the artists and the possibility of practising photography in the framework of courses.

Formidable
Des expos étonnantes comme celle consacrée au travail d’Agnès Varda sur le quartier de la Pointe courte à Sète, d’autres passionnantes comme celle à l’église sainte Anne de photographes scandinaves.
Et le clou de ces rencontres 2023 est à coup sûr l,expo de Grégory Crewdson , sublimes et bouleversantes photos dignes d’Edward Hooper

Très décevant
Cette édition 2022 est sans aucun doute la moins intéressante depuis très longtemps. Aucun e expo ne sort du lot, pas de coup de coeur’ pas de choc.
Absolument rien à en tirer,d’un ennui mortel. C’est la première fois que je regrette d’y être allé.
