Arles does not have a poison control center. Tourists and local residents can contact poison control centers in other French cities in the event of a poisoning-related medical emergency. Calls to poison control centers are recorded and medical records are strictly confidential. In the event of intoxication, it is recommended not to give the victim anything to drink, nor to induce vomiting. Milk is not an antidote. It is important to call the Poison Control Center immediately. If the person is not breathing or conscious, it is advisable to call the SAMU (15).
