ARCHIVES COMMUNALES D'ARLES
The city of Arles has maintained its archives since the establishment of the consulate in 1131. Its document fund is very important both by its seniority, linear film, continuity of collections and its state of conservation. They include parish and civil registers, the city's deliberations since 1426, cadastral documents, population censuses since the th century, an important cartographic fund on the Camargue, the Rhône and Crau since the th century and many plans of the city buildings.
