The public Library of Arles is open free of charge to inhabitants of Arles and even those in Nîmes. Registration must be renewed every year, so you can borrow books, discs, films and even works of art. It is only a photo photo and proof of home to borrow for a month: 4 books, 3 magazines, 3 cd and 3 videos (per map). The library also has a artothèque, the operation is a little more complicated since you will need, insurance, leave a bond (loan of a work of art for 2 months). Finally the media library offers animations: exhibitions, conferences, authors'meetings, readings, children's stories, video projections and audio listening (by appointment).
