LES DEUX PROVENÇALES
It is the Maison Louis Sicard who was the creator in 1895 of the famous cicadas porte still manufactured nowadays, which are found on the walls of houses in Provence. These cicadas, large or small, are made from tiled pulp, this grey land in Limoges. Flowing into a closed mould or directly moulded, they are cooked twice, before and after the colour application. You can buy them at the Les Deux Provençal boutique, as well as nativity, signed Sylvette Amy, Provençal tablecloths and various earthenware pieces such as the dishes created in 1925, yellow motifs of Bordeaux say Sowing, famous for several generations, and once offered as a wedding gift. The shop is also available online.
