LE MOULIN BONNET
Superb mill built in 1776 which is still in function in Boulbon.
This superb 18th century windmill is still in operation (it is the only one in the whole Bouches-du-Rhône department in this case). Built in 1776 and restored in 2002 in accordance with the original, it has recovered its roof, wings and mechanism. Thus, the millstones of the mill can still grind. On Mistral days, one can therefore see, in addition to the magnificent panorama over the Rhone plain and the Gard on the other bank, the whirling of its wings which allow the grain of wheat to be ground the old-fashioned way. This is an excellent idea for a walk.
