A marine protection area in Carry-le-Rouet, organizes fun workshops and aquatic walks during the summer.
This marine protected area was created in 1982 and extends over 28 km. It concentrates its actions on 2 marine protected areas, at Cap Couronne (210 ha) and Carry-le-Rouet (85 ha). The park has installed artificial reefs to help the ecosystem to develop, as well as anti-spawning reefs and carries out scientific studies on its own actions. In summer, the park organizes fun workshops as well as aquatic hikes (registration required).

The marine park is a free and family-friendly place to discover the seabed… whether it's sea walks or playful activities, the team is very pleasant and friendly. Really recommend it! Bravo to the city of this free

Espace marin protégé et sauvegardé. Depuis la plage du Cap Rousset, il est possible d'y faire du snorkeling et de voir facilement des poissons, des posidonies, des oursins, des étoiles de mer...bien sùr il vaut mieux privilégier les moments où il y a peu de monde car c'est une plage très prisée en été
