The family estate has been run for 5 generations by Nicolas Bontoux, assisted by his children Émile, Louise and Joseph, who, with the same determination and drive, develop new cuvées (silver medal at the Paris agricultural competition, and gold medal at the Lyon 2024 competition); as well as artisanal products grown on the vineyard, such as honey and olive oil. Located on the outskirts of Cassis, this 30-hectare estate with clay and silica-limestone soils was created by Émile Bodin in 1890. The Bodin brand was then registered worldwide.

Open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 12:30pm and 2:30pm to 6pm. Wine tasting in the cellar during opening hours. Reservations by e-mail recommended. Delivery available (online store and free delivery in France for orders of 12 bottles or more). Prices: tasting of 5 wines 13€/person Tasting with toasts and verrines 20€/person (by reservation only, minimum 8 people). Possibility of tasting two vintages of grand reserves.

Bodin Vins de Cassis is a winery based in the commune of Cassis. It offers a wide range of white, rosé and red wines. ROSÉ 2022
Vinification: As soon as it arrives at the winery, the harvest is distributed to a destemmer, which separates the grape berries from the unwanted stalks. The grapes are then cooled to a temperature of 10°, and transported to pneumatic presses, which enable gentle, gradual pressing, preserving the aromatic finesse of our harvest. The must is kept at a low temperature. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled vats at between 16 and 18°. Finished wines are blended, then filtered over winter.
Tasting notes: Fruity, mineral and fresh, with notes of vine peaches and strawberries.
Food pairing: Aperitifs, salads, grilled meats, Oriental and Mediterranean cuisine.

WHITE LA CUVÉE D'ÉMILE 2020
Vinification: As soon as it arrives at the winery, the harvest is distributed to a destemmer, which separates the grape berries from the unwanted stalks. The grapes are then cooled to a temperature of 10°, and transported to pneumatic presses, which ensure gentle, progressive pressing, preserving the aromatic finesse of our harvest. The resulting must is put into barrels and fermented in wood. The temperature is naturally regulated. Once alcoholic fermentation is complete, the wine is aged on its fine lees for 12 months to nurture its complexity.
Tasting notes: Rich and complex, with brioche and slightly toasted aromas.
Food pairing: Fish, creamed white meats
Serve chilled: between 12 and 14°C

Vinification: Partial de-stemming, crushing, maceration at 28°, daily pumping-over for at least 15 days. De-vatting and pressing, filtering during the winter.
