In 1963, Max Sauze - visual artist, sculptor and lighting designer - arrived in Éguilles and discovered this abandoned garden. Over the years, the artist restored it and filled it with his works, infusing it with such poetry that in 2005. Classified as a Jardin Remarquable, it is now home to around a hundred of Sauze's poetic installations, in which sculpture becomes one with plants.
