Since 2006, the Tuilerie Bossy has been a center for the arts and crafts, and is now home to more than twenty craftspeople, including ceramists, metalworkers, upholsterers, leatherworkers, jewelers, fabric designers, watchmakers, painters and florists, who put their expertise to work on your projects. With the recent opening of the Point Fusion Formation vocational center and upcoming exhibitions, the Tuilerie is becoming an essential venue for creativity. Owner's Message
The Tuilerie was founded in 1837 by Pyrame Bossy, and has remained in the same family ever since. Beyond the tiles, a marginal production despite the name "tuilerie", all kinds of ceramic objects have been made there, from the most utilitarian things like pipes, tiles, vases,... to more artistic objects. Great artists have called upon her to create their works (Henri Matisse, Georges Jouve, Léonie Buffile, ...).
The Tuilerie continues its tradition of creation by hosting 15 craft workshops, each independent, but grouped together in the association "Tuilerie Bossy - Métiers d'Art"
Our workshops are happy to welcome you.
hesitate to visit them, preferably contacting them beforehand to make sure they are available, as the craftsmen can be outside, on building sites, exhibitions, etc. We
organise at least three events a year on the Tuilerie: The European Days of Crafts, the European Heritage Days, and the Winter Festival.
