Doris Happel has been working with porcelain for over 25 years, choosing it when she moved to Provence in 2000. A noble and elegant material, she works on its transparency, first in white, then in monochrome black, red or blue, which transform everyday objects such as coffee cups, tea mugs and bowls. An original artist, Doris also offers beautiful decorative objects, strongly inspired by wabi-sabi, between imperfection and the passing of time, such as hanging birdhouses or mobiles with evanescent shapes. A demanding artist whose abundant universe is worth discovering.
