LOU LANDAIS
A gastronomic address with terrace to taste the best of the South-West cuisine in Gréasque.
Christian Fondeviolle has been offering us the best of Southwest cuisine for two years. Perfect! This is the justified impression of this gastronomic address. Delicacy of exquisite flavours, Chef's smile in person and quality service. A peaceful setting where you can discover traditional and authentic cuisine, and as soon as time permits, you can enjoy the delicious dishes on the beautiful terrace. The taste buds of the Basque Country and Landes, such as the Lou Landais's «Délice Delight» (potato, magret, hot gras liver), are the traditional home-made duck conflict. A delight: the "working" bar in foie gras. The southwest meets Provence, for example, with lemon-marinated mullet nets. The lunch menus are already good enough for us: Mexican tortilla duo to both meats and green salad. Side softness, succumb to the talks of apples or ice to prunes and armagnac or burnt cream, mouillettes from Floc de Gascony. To our amazement, despite the wealth and the opulence of the dishes, we come out of the table without any lourdeurs. " Normal! " tell us the master of the places, "the whole kitchen is made to plancha. Also noteworthy is a beautiful wine cellar, some of which are classified raw wines. The South-West region has found its nobility in the region. A nice gourmande stop that is worth a visit.
