RURAL AND HERITAGE MUSEUM
The Saint-Jean medieval chapel houses this small museum founded in 1980 in order to promote local heritage. Since then, volunteers from the association do campaign for backup, storage and animation monuments and small local Jouques heritage. Scenes of agricultural and artisanal domestic life are on the ground floor of the museum. On the first floor are grouped the ex-votos from the Notre-Dame de Consolation Chapel. Sometimes very old, they are in perfect condition and depict scenes of soft and naive life. In another room, a space is dedicated to temporary exhibitions on history, environment or exposing contemporary works here or elsewhere and finally contemporary artists, a room is devoted to the works of local artists.
