LES VIGNERONS DU CASTELLAS
A story of La Fare-les-Oliviers winemakers, starting in 1929 with a common desire to gather their vineyards and to put in place a powerful vinification tool. Today, 120 members, spread over the municipalities of La Fare, Lançon, Coudoux, Berre and Rognac, operate 300 ¥ ha of vineyards. The co-op produces an average of 15,000 hl hl to 20,000 hl hl of wines, of which 40 ¾ % in AOC coteaux-d 'Aix and sells directly to the cellar a full range of bulk wines, bag-in-box and bottles. The latter are composed of the slopes of Aix, in the three colors, of wine from the red and rosé Bouches-du-Rhône, and of a table wine Philippe Cauber red, put on sale every year around October 15.
