ASSOCIATION A.N.D.R.O.M.E.D.E - PLANÉTARIUM
The planetarium is located at the Marseille Observatory, and offers a wide range of shows, depending on the schedule: for children aged 4 and 5, with two different options ("full vault" show or a session combining discovery of the evening sky with short shows); for 6-11 year-olds, with a presentation of the evening sky, the planets, constellations and a description of the solar system; and for the general public, with explanations of more specific astronomical themes, in addition to the evening sky. Perhaps most interestingly, these sessions are followed by a visit to the observatory's large telescope or, occasionally, the Foucault telescope. Finally, throughout the year, and particularly in summer, evening observing sessions are organized at the same location (booking essential!).
