This institution, founded in 1856, is the oldest soap factory to perpetuate the manufacture of authentic Marseille soap according to an ancestral recipe handed down by generations of master soap makers. While waiting for a protected label, leave the ersatz soaps behind and opt for the Fer à Cheval soaps. Made exclusively with vegetable oils, without any added perfume or colouring, they are part of the town's living heritage. A true cultural heritage, labeled Living Heritage Company and holder of the Quality Tourism label.

De l'histoire et de l'artisanat en une seule visite !
Voici le lieu où l'on apprend l'histoire d'un produit typiquement marseillais et où l'on peut admirer le travail des derniers savonniers dans des chaudrons ancestraux. Ensuite, petit tour par la boutique pour ramener un souvenir bien sympathique et qui servira au quotidien pour soi ou encore pour la maison.
