COLLÈGE IBN KHALDOUN
Marseille was the first city in southern France to open the doors of the first Muslim private college in the spring of 2009. This project was born from the soliciting of numerous associations and individuals wishing to participate in the outbreak of Muslim reference education. This college is named Ibn Khaldun in tribute to a th Muslim philosopher, historian and politician century. The curriculum taught is that of the official programme of national education and the added value of the college lies in optional education: religion, Muslim civilization and Arabic language. The wearing of the veil will not be imposed or prohibited. Note that for its first year only two classes of sixth have opened. In the 2010 s, the fifth classes were created. The college is expected each year to grow at an additional level, to walk full speed in 2012.
