CARAVANE CAFÉ
An associative café-restaurant that has saved a neighborhood bar from extinction, where you can enjoy dishes that take you on a journey.
A little way from the hustle and bustle of the Estaque port, a former neighborhood bar destined to close has been taken over as a cooperative by a handful of enthusiasts, some of them involved in Super Cafoutch (Marseilles' downtown cooperative supermarket). The idea is to keep alive a neighborhood hangout where regular customers meet new ones, attracted by this novel project in the city. The restaurant is tiny, seats are expensive and the decor, designed by an architect, is colorful and delightfully vintage. On the plate, you'll travel through the days and weeks. During the day, you can also take a snack break. It's a place to support, where you quickly feel at ease.
