MADAME JEANNE
Restaurant offering organic and locavore cuisine in the heart of downtown Marseille.
In the city center, take the little pass from the 86 th Grignan Street and meet with Mrs. Jeanne; Buon's gourmet dependence (superb project that brings together restaurant, wine cellar, exhibition room, vacation rentals, etc.). Xavier Zapata is on the kitchen. Known for its biological and locavore affinities. Delicious and humble, its cuisine combines quality and seasonal products. The décor: sober, wooded and vegetal; trust the time to skate the place and warm it up a little. In a sublime terracotta dish: the beauty and the good. Fishing of the day, mixed meats seasoned and marmites to share! From the Cave des Papilles (right next door) the wines are natural and offer in agreement with the map of the moment. In dessert, the revisited pavlova (red fruit and cedar candies) is stunning. An exquisite bisource, but not completely epicural: the reduced proportions remain unbalanced with regard to prices. Mrs. Jeanne serves sensitive and enthusiastic cuisine; its flavors make sense. Bib gourmand 2018, bravo!
