LA CASA DI MARIO
A new Italian restaurant, the little sister of another address on the Old Port, offering generous Neapolitan pizzas.
In place of another Italian restaurant on the ever-bustling Rue Sainte, here's a new address that's none other than the little sister of Tribeca da Mario on the Old Port. A small bistro serving excellent Neapolitan pizzas, pasta dishes and other delights from the other side of the Alps. We tried the chef's pizza, which was a marvel both for its soft, puffy dough and its generous topping of grilled pancetta and burrata. The finishing touch was pistachio slivers all around the crust. Spectacular and delicious. Smiling service but a bit of a wait to be served. No problem, it's delicious.
