Enjoy a delicious pizza made with fresh produce in the heart of Rue d'Aubagne in Noailles, at one of the city's historic pizzerias.
In this working-class, mixed-race neighborhood in the heart of Rue d'Aubagne, people have been eating pizze from Chez Sauveur since 1943. And even if the competition is tough in this little corner of Marseille, we keep coming back because we know the difference between a good pizza and a bad one. Every day, the market next door offers a multitude of fresh produce essential to making a good pizza. Flour, tomatoes, Emmental cheese, a touch of garlic oil, all cooked in one of the city's oldest wood-fired ovens. With a garlic salad, it's a real treat! In addition to pizzas, other specialties include turnovers, lasagne and pied-packets. For dessert, cannolli with ricotta, vanilla and chocolate... to be washed down with an iced limoncello. An adorable waiter! Chez Sauveur is one of Marseille's best pizzerias in a typical setting! When the weather's fine, you can sit on the terrace overlooking the pedestrian street, or inside in a beautiful rustic setting with exposed stone walls and attractive wooden furniture. A long room on the first floor leads via a staircase to a large room upstairs. In 2023, a change of ownership with the young team at La Bonne Mère pizzeria in Vauban. The spirit remains the same: good pizza above all.
