Within the Grandes Halles du Vieux-Port, which will open in mid-July 2022, a Lebanese counter attracts the most gourmands, notably by the good smell of grilled meat that emanates from it. The chawarma meat is cooked vertically and you are cut into shreds to be served on a plate or in a sandwich. Good choice of mezzes that can be tasted in pre-composed plates or by the piece. The portions are generous, like this plate of shawarma that we loved, served with hummus and fresh fries. For the vegetarians, we will opt for a falafel sandwich very appetizing. Afterwards, you are free to sit in the dining room or on the terrace to enjoy.
