New address specialized in fish and seafood. Ideally located on the Place Thiars and its small bucolic fountain, in a lively district where there is no lack of restaurants. Coquille stands out with a menu almost exclusively devoted to marine products, which is not so frequent in Marseille despite its position on the sea. Here you can taste oysters, but also mimosa eggs and edible crab meat, a carpaccio of sea bream, a wing of skate à la grenobloise, tamarisk mussels with marinara cream. Those allergic to fish can rest assured, there is still a beef tartar and pizzas on the menu. Beautiful sunny terrace.

Service toujours au top.
Staff was kind too. We expected it to be good after having read various good reviews, but we were surprised positively about it. We tried oysters, shrimps, some dishes from the menu (both fish and meat), and desert — all of them excellent, including their bread. We are even considering to come back for the second time in our short weekend in Marseille!
Les cocktails sont bien maîtrisés et rompent un peu l'ennui. Le service est d'une grande qualité et très attentif.
