FRANCESCA
Restaurant resembling a small international fast-food restaurant offering various dishes at reasonable prices.
When it comes to pasta, fast food has invaded the Phocaean city, and it's not so easy to find your way around. Let's try to spot the best ones, at least those that respect a minimum of tradition: Sicilian durum wheat pasta, cooked al dente (more or less!)), first cold-pressed olive oil from Puglia, fresh tomato sauces, guaranteed GMO-free, fresh basil also for pesto, Neapolitan or arrabiata, which we are assured are free of colourings and preservatives, but also spinach, Bolognese, 3 cheeses, salmon, served in real plates (on the spot) and not in cartons. Other designations of Italian terroirs, such as Parma ham, real parmigiano reggiano, cheese with AOC. But make no mistake, Francesca doesn't exist. This reassuring first name of dona is actually a flourishing franchise in France. If you want to eat light, it's possible with salads in season and other dishes that we couldn't find that day. Desserts are reasonably priced: the very creamy homemade tiramisu, the lemon meringue tart, the cheese cake, as well as the chocolate mousse or moelleux. You feel good, like in a small international fast food restaurant.
