FUWA FUWA
Restaurant chain specializing in airy, moist Japanese-style puffed pancakes for a gourmet treat.
Freshly arrived in Marseille's city center, this brand already present in France specializes in ultra-moist, Japanese-style puffed pancakes. In Japanese, "fuwa" means spongy. At first glance, the plates of pancakes topped with various toppings, such as Nutella, pistachio, tiramisu or crème brûlée, are highly appetizing. Once in the mouth, the sensation can be disconcerting. It's airy and easy to digest. Some will enjoy it, others not so much, but it's definitely worth a try. On the savory side, you can have a waffle with salmon, avocado or burratina. A real novelty effect, to see if it lasts.
