Restaurant with a pretty terrace in a discreet alley offering healthy salads and gourmet sandwiches.
We really fell in love with this little restaurant set in a discreet alleyway perpendicular to the lively Rue Haxo. A pretty, quiet terrace unfolds in front of a small gourmet den that takes on the form of a cocoon, the care taken with the decoration being unmistakable, with notably beautiful "girl power" illustrations on the walls. The menu at Nòu ("new" in Provençal) includes subtle sandwiches and healthy salads. We tried the "Fish" sandwich, generously garnished with prawns, avocado, green apple, lime and homemade mayonnaise, a real treat. The soft bread blends perfectly with the acidity of the filling. Other sandwiches include the "Truffé" or two vegetarian options. For dessert, there's a homemade apricot clafoutis or the Nòukie, a pie-sized cookie from which you cut a slice. Incredible. Smiling welcome, friendly atmosphere with lots of regulars passing through, even though Nòu is relatively new. Highly recommended!
