Charming zen-like restaurant in Marseille offering different categories of gourmet and healthy pita sandwiches.
A far cry from a North American fast-food chain. Pita Pit Marseille sets itself apart from other restaurants in the chain by opting for wooden furniture, a Zen atmosphere and a personalized, charming welcome from the owner couple. On the menu: pita sandwiches topped with your choice of plant or animal proteins, side dishes, homemade sauces and gourmet goodness without neglecting the undeniable healthy side. Chicken souvlaki, minced beef, falafel, halloumi or green lentil dumplings. With Caesar, Espelette pepper or Thai sauces, there's sure to be something to suit your taste. The only minor disappointment is the bread. When we tested it, we imagined a soft, homemade pita. Instead, it's a very thin oriental patty. But the whole thing is still very good and the initiative a success!
