Delicious bistro cuisine in a historic brasserie near the Old Port and the Garden of the Remains in Marseille.
Halfway between the Old Port and the Remains Garden, this historic brewery offers an ideal stopover during your day out. The brewery takes its name from its location where the hotel and stables of the Temple House were located during the Crusades. An inn was created there in 1724 but it was in 1889 that the brewery as we know it today was founded. The pretty Art Deco interior dates back to the redesign of the district in 1926. The place is therefore steeped in history, but not only that. We eat a simple and tasty bistro cuisine. Be careful, although a stone's throw from the port, don't go here to discover a vast choice of fish. Apart from one or two suggestions on the menu of the day, you will be disappointed because the menu gives more importance to meats and dishes from the land. That lunchtime, the Smart kid fell in love with a skewer of duck with apricots, served with a good gratin dauphinois. To finish on a sweet note, a successful homemade tiramisu. The plates are copious, especially the garlic or mussels and chips. A good table ideally placed then.

Le serveur est inutile aussi pas professionnel bref dommage cette vieille brasserie a perdu en prestige...
Le serveur est particulièrement antipathique ; lorsqu'il a voulu commencer a fermer la terrasse il est devenu très agressif, au point d'être VIOLENT en renversant des verres (dont certains sont tombés directement sur leur consommateur) et de crier ''on ferme !'' a l'attention des clients !
Je n'ai jamais vu ça, c'est pour moi inadmissible de la part d'un établissement accueillant des clients !
Passez votre chemin, le quartier ne manque absolument pas d'endroits à fréquenter, avec des tarifs, des produits, et une ambiance bien plus agreables !
