La Criée restaurant in Marseille, offering seasonal cuisine and excellent value for money.
Adjacent to the theater of the same name. The emphasis is on seasonal produce, organic cereals and fresh meat and fish. Prices are more than reasonable for the quality of the dishes, and it's a great place to stop, either on the terrace or in the large room with its faux-industrial feel. The daily specials are simple in appearance, but finely crafted: Cretan salad, Cucugnan lace with zucchini pesto, chicken tagine... An address that's never boring.

This is a great place! Food is excellent, I am not a vegetarian but my partner is. Both fully accommodated for, really excellent food all round. Service was excellent too, and a smashing wine recommendation we can give this place nothing less than the 5 stars it deserves. Good value too where lots of the other places are so expensive for what they are.
