Chef Denis Ansaldi's establishment in Marseille's Rue Beauvau offers a gourmet, home-cooked menu.
In the Rue Beauvau, linking the turbulent Canebière to the pedestrianized Opera district, chef Denis Ansaldi's Café Bovo is one of those addresses that deserves a closer look at the menu. Everything, really everything, is homemade. No exceptions. We tried the dish of the day, confit pork loin with homemade barbecue sauce and eggplant. Tasty and melting. Among the house classics: homemade linguine with pesto, served with your choice of bresaola and/or burrata. For dessert, our revisited snickers are a delight.
