LE POINTU
Friendly bar-resto with terrace on Marseille's bustling square, offering original, high-quality dishes.
An institution on the Cours Estienne d'Orves and a must for a host of nightlife regulars on the Old Port, Le Pointu unfurls its large terrace on Marseille's most festive Italian-style square, facing the statue of Milon de Crotone and its fountains. The bar is open from morning to night, but what we particularly like is to come at aperitif time, when the mood takes a turn for the better and we accompany our drinks with simple, tasty and generous tapas. Zucchini flower fritters, panisses, fish accras and aïoli, sardine pissaladière, there's plenty of choice and it's good. At lunchtime, you can also enjoy a dish of the day and salad suggestions.
