Les Arcenaulx is one of the city's finest restaurants. Ideally located in a unique historic setting, many of the rooms have been refurbished, while retaining the authentic atmosphere of a place steeped in history. Here we are in the former warehouse of Louis XIV's galleys. A hybrid space combining bookshop, boutique and gourmet restaurant, you'll appreciate chef Eric Cornilleau's fine, traditional cuisine. The menu changes every quarter, but is firmly rooted in Provencal tradition: pieds et paquets marseillais, bouillabaisse or bourride (order the day before), seiches à la sétoise... At lunchtime, you can take advantage of the restaurant's attractive terrace or open-beamed dining rooms. The wine list is a perfect match for your dishes. Meticulous, professional service. La cuisine est raffinée et le service est rapide. Nous avons diné un dos de pagre sur lit de légumes qui était excellent. Au dessert j'ai apprécié l'ananas roti et ses boules de glace : un délice.
