In the sublime setting of the Opera House, the Philharmonic Orchestra welcomes the New Year with its traditional New Year's concert.
Every year at the beginning of January, the Opéra de Marseille Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Lawrence Foster, organizes this popular event for classical music and opera lovers in Marseilles. A relatively short evening in which the orchestra performs a program of classics, much to the delight of the audience. In 2023, Offenbach and Strauss father and son were in the spotlight. The setting of the Opéra is magnificent.
