CAFÉS DEBOUT
Good coffee and good tea, sitting or standing, indoors or on the terrace, that's what this historic café/teahouse in Marseille has to offer! Founded by the Debout family in 1932, Cafés Debout is one of the last remaining old-fashioned coffee roasters in Marseille. The sacks of beans and the old-fashioned grinders bear witness to this. Coffees come from the most renowned countries: Guatemala, Brazil, India, Bolivia, Jamaica, Kenya, Burma, Papua... Also, a wide choice of plain teas (Darjeeling, Ceylon, Earl Grey, from China, Japan...) or flavored teas. In summer, opt for Mangajo, pomegranate-apple or apple-lemon iced tea. Don't miss out on a sweet treat: navette, homemade cookie, the famous Fouque nougat or the must-try Cafés Debout bar from Marseille, a bar of dark, milk or nougatine chocolate! The staff are always friendly. To discover or rediscover!
