For more than a hundred years, the Comité du Vieux-Marseille has been honouring Marseille's heritage. Safeguarding and knowledge of all forms are its objectives. Art, architecture, nature, science, industry, nothing is forgotten! With Le Carré des Ecrivains every November, you discover the local or national books on the Phocaean city. Nearly 150 writers meet to deliver their works through round tables and dedications. Novelists, historians, biographers, journalists, photographers, draftsmen, poets... A readers' prize, the Marseilles Prize is awarded to a book published during the year.
