From November to December 31, a beautiful and colorful santon market takes place every year. An age-old Provencal tradition.
During the festive season, the unmissable santons reappear in the city of Marseille, from late November to late December. Artisans' "roulottes" are set up on the Quai du Port, on the Old Port. Some forty exhibitors present the must-have santons, as well as their latest creations in all sizes: from the "puce" santon to the largest, depending on the size and location of your crib. Tradition dictates that each year a new character is born and integrated into the Provencal cribs!
