Since 1969, this association advises and brings its expertise to local communities, state and public enterprises for better coordination of development policies (city policy, planning, housing, transport…). It therefore has three missions: observe, project and animate. Its territories: Marseille, Marseille-Provence Métropole, the Country of Aubagne and that of Etoile. In particular, NASCO assisted in the bid for Marseille-Provence 2013 and the creation of the Calanques National Park. It has numerous studies and statistical data, via its Employment Observatory, especially through an Observatory of the Cities.
