Train with two circuits, the one towards the district of the basket and Joliette, and the one towards the ascent of Notre-Dame.

From the quay of the port, two circuits to discover! The first one, the circuit of the Old Marseille, in direction of the district of the Panier and of the Joliette with its redeveloped Docks and of course the Mucem. Total duration of the round trip 1h45. The second one, the Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde circuit, proposes the ascent of Notre-Dame (162 m!) by the Corniche. It lasts 1h15. In summer, the Little Train of Marseille offers you a third circuit, on the islands of Frioul.

even if we ommes in the region it is pleasant to discover very pleasant marseille like
Following my visit of Marseille, I wanted to share my experience of the tourist train which takes us to Notre Dame de la Garde. First of all, it is necessary to travel to the guicher to pay its trip (7€ for Notre Dame, 6€ for the historic centre). Then expect train (every 20 minutes). As soon as the train arrive it is rush to have rooms... it does not have no organisation to manage crowds, not queue, it is the crowds! Then there is checking the buses, each bench must allow 4 people. In front of us there was a family of 2 adults and 3 children (quite young people). They were asked to down by the driver in a very aggressive and insulting limit. While question safety it had no problem. The family disputed, which is all the normal, until an announcement is made by the driver that it was necessary that another is itself some because it was necessary to leave. It was never explained calmly parents why they were to go down. We would not have spoken better with cattle. They nevertheless could be reimbursed. Do so I put me a matter if someone fort stoutness has herself, they will refuse it for questions security, or they nevertheless add 3 other people with it under circumstances which is took 4 people per seat? By therefore neglecting the comfort of passengers?

The visit it then passed well. Arrival at Notre Dame de la Garde, there was a light stop because of a car left parking, we began to move to go down and the driver barked us above while asking to wait. And when we stopped was entitled to a OK. Yes, but OK what??? To sum up these mini trains are nothing other than " pumps with frics" (desolate for vulgarity) imports comfort, friendly, it is just have to pay! If I must give you advice, go by car to Notre Dame, there are car parks. And for the historic center take a guide will be better!
