JOJO
New Marseille bistro at the foot of the Panier, with terrace, offering gourmet sandwiches and modern dishes.
Jojo, the new bistro on rue Caisserie, was immediately in demand as soon as it opened, so much so that an address like this was eagerly awaited in the neighborhood. The café is open from morning to night, except Mondays and Tuesdays, and is both friendly and inexpensive. You'll find great sandwiches (we loved the roast veal with tonnello sauce and green apple), as well as à la carte dishes for lunch and dinner: sea bream sashimi, stracciatella, chili oil and kumquat; pollack, peas and clams; or smash potatoes with trout roe and preserved lemon. For dessert, the young owner's dad's mille-feuilles are a must, with their delicious rum cream.
