MAISON YELLOW
Chef Emmanuel Cocuzza's bistro-restaurant in Marseille's Docks de La Joliette. Southern cuisine and sunshine guaranteed.
At Docks Village in La Joliette, what was once MX Marseille has recently become Maison Yellow. This inspiring restaurant is run by chef Emmanuel Cocuzza and his team, with a fine, affordable lunch menu and tapas in the evening, all the result of the restaurant's Mediterranean influences. Octopus salad or heirloom tomato gazpacho for starters, duck breast and stuffed tomatoes or Mediterranean bass fillet with fennel confit to continue before concluding with the chef's dessert, which that day was: seasonal fruit minestrone with aniseed syrup. Graine de Vanille pastries from Marseille are also available. Sunday brunch. At the bar, you'll find Pastis-based cocktails, of course, but that's not all. The boutique sells Ricard brand products.
