Launched in 2024 by the creators of the Espigas espadrille brand from Marseille, Canal16lab is a project aimed at recycling marine waste into bags. An eco-responsible approach that reuses materials from life rafts declared unusable by regulations. Other elements destined for destruction are also reused. After the success of Espigas, Olivier and Bérengère Perret are expanding their range of products even further, with a range of modern, practical backpacks and luggage.
