COMITÉ DÉPARTEMENTAL DE HANDISPORT
The function of the pre-handisport Supervisory committee is to promote the practice of recreational and competition disciplines in the Paralympic and recreational disciplines, to give access to the practice of sports activity adapted to the physical means of persons with disabilities, with a compétant and trained coaching and also to allow the change of the "valid" to persons with disabilities. The Handisport departmental committee of Bouches-du-Rhône is composed of 29 clubs with 914 licensees. Created in 1983, it comprises all the clubs or handisport section located in the department of Bouches-du-Rhône. The committee gives persons with physical, visual and hearing disabilities the opportunity to practise physical and sporting activity in leisure or competition. The committee is affiliated with the French Handisport federation. It represents it and ensures the implementation of its regulations while conducting targeted actions in collaboration with pre-handisport clubs, the Regional Handisport Committee and the Olympic ministerial Committee.
