MATING BELL TOWER
Last remains of one of the oldest churches in Marseille, wiped out after the Revolution. long time ago, the bell tower of Accoules sheltered the Sauveterre tower, once used to summon the town councillors. At the same place, is the location of Daviel pavilion, previously it was the justice palace built between 1743 and 1747 by Gérard brothers, today it shelters the desks of the municipal assistants. During your visit do not forget to go upstairs to witness the beauty of the magnificent balcony in ironwork with its panels called "à la marguerite" due to the Verdiguier sculptor.
