ASSOCIATION CAP MARSEILLE
Founded in 1996 by Jeanne Coconi, the aim of this association is to promote the image of Marseille and its inhabitants by what it is more beautiful: the sea. The idea is to democratize sailing, make it accessible to children and adolescents in neighbourhoods. Through actions relating to the marine and river environment, certain forms of exclusion can be combated. The sailing school offers various types of internships and manages an ancestral ship, a boat 14 to 25 metres long, called La Flâneuse. In the direction of adults, the association aims to initiate and train the various trades in the maritime sector and events. Pleasure craft owners can find a service system from Cap Marseille with a qualified seaman (paid by the association) who brings his experience. During an exit at sea, it will be charged to assist or participate in maintenance and maintenance operations. Education, insertion, continuing training, initiatives see in Cape Marseille
