Located inside the café-restaurant-bookshop, the Machines Room, within the cultural hub of La Friche Belle de Mai, its library space, which has recently expanded, welcomes you in an original and convivial setting. It offers you a wide choice from the BD to the art and cooking books, not to mention the youth books. The books proposed by the bookstore are linked to the programming and production work of the residents of La Friche: urban culture, art of show, photography, gastronomy, graphics, street art… Space is composed of an exhibition room and a restaurant corner. The snack located in the same locale is ideal to eat a bite and enjoy the current exhibition. Discussions are regularly held two to three Thursdays per month. Authors, writers, and specialists are present to share and exchange around their works and discuss topical issues. A friendly cafe-bookstore like we love them.
