The Faculty of Sciences has nearly 8 000 students and seven departments: biology, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, mechanical, physical and image/sound (SATIS: Science, Art and Image and Sound Techniques). It is one of the largest in France! It offers post-baccalaureate training to master and doctorate and high-level research activities. It is located on six major sites (Saint-Charles, Saint-Jérôme, Château-Gombert, Luminy, Aix-Montperrin and Aubagne). One of the most important sites is in Luminy, at the foot of the coves, with sports facilities, green spaces, services and shops. A real town in the city where it is good to study.
