This gourmet restaurant opened in November 2011 on the th floor of the hospital. Please do not confuse with the restaurant pizzeria of the 13 th arrondissement (facing the town hall)! In the CHU, every lunchtime in the week and in the evening (upon reservation), the gourmet restaurant welcomes the carers, but also the patients, their families and all lovers of traditional and careful cuisine. With Cook chef Frédéric Renoult, accompanied by his Antona Laetitia hotel Master, La Timone's revolution in taste has proved that the entrance of the taste to the hospital can make good. The chic and soothing setting, the panoramic view over the whole city marseille and the real kitchen, all this goes back to the morale! This is the first time in France that a restaurant in this category is set up in a hospital environment. In partnership with Médiance, a restaurant and services company, the partners have been betting on refined Mediterranean cuisine at affordable prices. Diets without salt, sugar-free, gluten-free, satisfy the demand of practitioners and patients, all convinced of the therapeutic virtues of a good shared meal. The other major challenge: to bring more people from outside, effectively erasing the fears that the medical community generates.
