At the same time a cultural centre, library and Arabic language school, the CCIMA has existed since the early 1980 s in Marseille. It is almost thirty years since this centre works for the promotion of Middle East and Maghreb culture. Provided by graduate teachers, certified trainers, the current Maghreb theoretical Arabic courses are accompanied by a choice of stories and performances (theatre) to make learning more playful. Limited places for language courses, members are given priority. Throughout the year, cultural trips are also organized.
