CHEZ GILDA
Small, friendly restaurant popular with locals, offering octopus, prawns and all sorts of delicacies on the go.
Gilda is the little address adored by connoisseurs of the Cours Julien. The name of this tiny restaurant comes from the former owner. The name has stuck, and the place is now expertly run by a young, motivated and friendly team. Ideal for a Mediterranean meal or a quick bite in the evening, Gilda's dishes include octopus and squid, fried in front of you with garlic and parsley. A real treat. You'll also find excellent panisses, homemade houmous and tzatziki with cumin to share. But people also flock here for the famous gambas flambéed in pastis. A very inexpensive and picturesque address, very much in the spirit of the neighborhood. The musical atmosphere is always top-notch.
