Traditional brasserie with large terrace serving bistro cuisine and daily specials in Marseille.
One of the city's last great historic brasseries. A place full of character, opposite the Prefecture. Whether you choose to sit in its elegant but somewhat old-fashioned interior, or on the large terrace, you can enjoy uncomplicated but good bistro cuisine for lunch from Monday to Saturday. At lunchtime, the special of the day included chicken kebabs marinated in citrus fruits, or a homemade croque-monsieur with fresh French fries. The suggestion of the week was entrecôte steak with its hearty jus, accompanied by mashed potatoes. An emblematic address that rarely disappoints.
